hello sitely brothers here are my thoughts for the next unknown amount of time

life recently has been... super duper busy. last month (may) was my last month of school and so EVERYTHING had to be put on hold just so i could make sure that i made it until the end of my junior year. yikes was this one rough. but anyways - inbetween my track schedule, my friends wanting to kickstart summer, and just the general end of school, i was HELLA busy. but i'm here now! i'm officially on summer break. however, mon-wed-fri i have volleyball practice which is yucky. usually we have it in the morning but because one of our coach's work schedules we have to move it into the afternoon. so the plus side is that i get to sleep in, with the downside being that my evening/afternoon is cut a bit short because of ew gross sweaty tired volleyball practice.

so i've gotten back into actually working on my site rather than just doing weekly housekeeping. it feels good ! i love being able to get back into the creative flow of things, which leads me into..

to be fair i did not change much. i tried right-aligning the homepage but it said that it hated me and wanted me to die (pretty much only worked on 1920x1080p screens and i don't want to go through all the trouble of fixing it when i'm probably just going to change it later). that being said, my recent site inspirings have been philia995 and R.O.B! these are probably my two favorite sites right now and so i have to give them a bit of credit for the graphics changes and whatnot.

other than that, i'm trying to make the site feel more cohesive without having to stick to one true layout (because switching all of those pages over is exhausting enough already). i want to be able to pick a page that i may not like or want to change and then just.. change it. i think i may offer my old layout as a copypaste one sometime in the future, because i am pretty proud of it and want to be able to share it with others.

i'm probably going to redesign the blog so. wish me luck. WHY is this always the hardest thing to do. i could use lexiqqq's blog thing but the javascript and css are too hard for me and i really don't want to go through the whole process of figuring everything out and implementing it and what if i want to change it and ugh. i like these little ramblings because it's just a little bite-sized blog and i'm no good at journaling anyways. anyways thanks for reading all the way to the bottom happy pride month!
