aka the movie where ice cube and chris tucker sit on a porch

watched it with my family and got out some giggles. not sure if i would ever watch it again, but it's a fun bit of "yeah I've watched it" lore that i guess i can't complain about.

i'll give this one like 4 out of 5 stars

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood | ep 1 - 6

i haven't finished watching this yet (i'm only at the beginning, actually) but it's been a good first couple of episodes. there's definitely a lot of potential for good story in here, i just haven't really dug into the meat of the show yet.

my favorite character so far is elric (which is basic) but i'm excited to see how that changes as i watch :P

minor spoilers but fml for having literally both sasha and hange as my favorite characters like F me i guess. i was emotionally conflicted at eren for the final half of this season but damn were those eren and zeke episodes good omg... i think i am officially an attack on titan fan.

FINISHED SEASON ONE AND TWO IN LIKE A WEEK

i'm seriously gnawing at the bars of my enclosure i am SO excited for season three to come out in october. and at first i was like okay whatever??? i'm not a huge shoujo fan so i was kind of rolling my eyes but then. I LOVE MAOMAO SO BAD and YES jinshi makes me blush okay leave me alone

it was at the end of this season where i realized where all the attack on titan hype comes from holy shit

i mean no spoilers obviously but i became (at least a little) emotionally invested in this season.... and my boyfriend was like "i don't know if you'll love or hate season 4" okay buddy

i enjoyed the ending of this movie (and i've been getting teary eyed when listening to the beginning of "Last Time (I Seen the Sun)" for the past couple of days. i hope it does well this awards season!

besides the social commentary, i thought the vampires singing was funny at moments. would rewatch!

attack on titan | january 2026

i'm not entirely sure where to go with this one. i'm watching AoT with my boyfriend, and we finally got past the first and second seasons over the weekend.

i like it so far. my favorite characters are Hange and Sasha ^_^ there are some minor complaints from me about pacing, but overall i'm enjoying watching his favorite show with him!

sword art online: alicization | december 2025

i was DELIGHTFULLY surprised by the entirety of alicization (including war of the underworld). i think, honestly, this is the best that SAO has to offer. it has wonderful action scenes, enjoyable kirito and eugeo moments, and the classic SAO heartstring-tugging. my only complaint is an upsetting scene involving Ronye and Tiese near the end of the first arc :(
