my start with zelda
Imagine, if you will, Leith the 3rd grader. I eagerly wait until the school day is done, drawing spiders and Octoroks in my notebook as my teacher reads to us. Afterwards, I wait patiently at home until my Dad arrives. I know when he is finished sitting at the table eating, he will come into the living room and open up his computer -- where he will then invite me to sit and watch him play his game.
The first Zelda game I ever had exposure to as a kid was the original one, just "The Legend of Zelda." My dad played it through an emulator on his old Dell laptop, telling me about all the things we had to do in order to progress the game. This is my favorite time of the day.
Ever since then, I've been a Zelda fanatic. The first game I was gifted for my Nintendo Switch was Breath of the Wild, which easily became my favorite Zelda game. Since then, I've played Tears of the Kingdom, Echoes of Wisdom, Age of Calamity, Majora's Mask, The Minish Cap, and we had Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass on my childhood DS.
favorite characters

These are all characters from Breath of the Wild, but some of my other favorite characters are Hudson, Teba, Sidon, and Ezlo. The main reason those people are up in pictures is because their portraits looked the best all put together like that. LMAO
Link is my main favorite just because you gain the most connection with him, especially in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. No, I did not play Skyward Sword, sorry. I think his responses really help you to get closer to him -- not to mention Zelda's diary entries over BOTW and TOTK. There's a certain side you see of him through Zelda's eyes, through her diary and through cutscenes, that sheds light on his character aspects outside of "he's really quiet" (he is NOT).
Other than that, Revali is my second favorite character (SHOCKER). I relate to him in a lot of ways, and I think his voice actor is so good ... It's cool to see how Revali was only appreciated after his death (and even then, not really). The only remnants of Revali's legacy is his pier which is NOT enough for what he did as the Rito's champion.
favorite music
The Legend of Zelda series is FILLED with good music. I find myself constantly humming or whistling songs from a number of the games. It's amazing how music ties the whole series together. Here are some of my favorites!
