i'm leith, and this is my minipage ദ്ദി ˊ ᗜ ˋ ) -☆

• this page is inspired by nerucom's mini ↗ -- "nerucom, but small, minimal personal!" -- ever since i saw the idea, i've wanted to do it, but haven't. until now! i try really hard to express myself through my website, but i often find that i can't truly show who i am through just my homepage (since that's the page that i end up giving all of my love to). so this is a way for me to try and give myself proper homage.
• before i was on neocities, i travelled around a lot of other webspaces. they were more easily found when i was a kid than they are now. my home on the internet was the spirit animals message board (what we called the SAMB), and the wings of fire message board (WoFMB). in the dark recesses of what is now a totally deleted website, you will find "millie's homethread" (millie is the persona i held before leith). this place, textually decorated with streamers, beanbags, and snacks, was a place where other forumgoers i had the pleasure to meet were able to leave me messages when i was away from the live chatroom. it's been roughly six years since the forums were shut down, and i've been chasing that high ever since. it was a pivotal part of my childhood and middle-school years.
• but why do i reminisce? well, as i said. i've been chasing that high ever since. this page is a tribute to the long-gone homethreads of my past. a personal look into myself in the webspace that i now call home.
• i used to be such a creative kid, but now i feel like i've just.. plummeted. hopefully now that i'm in a better place my creativity will come back. i'm hoping this minisite will help to nuture the creativity i know i hold inside me. i'm supposed to be a storyteller, playing around with my little middle-school OCs that have helped me make it this long. maybe i just need an active ear thrown my way. who knows?
